I was that kid — asthma, allergies, headaches every single day, an inhaler before every run. Western medicine managed it with medicine I was told I’d need indefinitely. Nothing resolved it. A few weeks after my first chiropractic visit, the headaches stopped. Three months later, I went for a run and forgot my inhaler. I’ve run marathons, climbed mountains and played and coached competitive soccer since.

I became a pediatric chiropractor because it changed my life, and I want to give other kids and families the opportunity to truly heal and be well. I’m one of Alaska’s few ICPA-certified providers, trained in advanced pediatric technique and Webster technique for pregnancy, with a Master’s in Positive Psychology and board certification as a health and wellness coach. But underneath the credentials is a 12-year-old who once asked a doctor, “Why now? What happened?” and never got an answer. She’s in the room every time a parent sits across from me.

When I’m not in the office, I’m coaching Fairbanks’s U11-U12 Eclipse girls soccer team, cheering my own son on from the sidelines, or playing in the Alaska mountains.
